Colleen came to the Goldberg Tener Clinic from Michigan suffering with severe Ulcerative Colitis diagnosed by a Medical Gastroenterologist. She had previously been hospitalized twice and given Prednisone. In ten months, Colleen made tremendous strides in reversing her condition and regaining her health and vitality. Her C-Reactive Protein, an important marker of inflammation, was significantly elevated initially and has now normalized entirely (pre/post labs are shown below). One might think the most difficult task working with chronically ill patients would be determining the course of action for them to take. That is a challenge my colleague Dr. Tener and I face each day. More difficult, however, is helping patients escape the treatment mindset which has often locked them into a medical failure mode.

The ongoing failure for both the medical and alternative medical systems with their plethora of potions and pills to provide real help to the legions of sufferers with IBD, leads us to the inevitable conclusion that their methods totally fail to address the factors producing these disease states, which differ with each person.

One of the most harmful aspects of the current Covid-19 Pandemic is a feeling of helplessness. There is a sense among many that other than hide in their homes and practice social distancing that they cannot protect themselves. That they have been left at the mercy of their local, state and federal governments to somehow shield themselves with pending mass vaccinations.
